2017 NABOR® President to Enhance Technology Services

NAPLES, FL (December 13, 2016) - The Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR®) installed its 2017 Board of Directors and Officers at NABOR’s 67th annual installation banquet on Saturday, December 3 at Naples Grande Beach Resort. Incoming President Dominic Pallini announced his 2017 goals, which include continued attention on REALTOR® safety, and implementing new and upgraded technologies that support member education and engagement.


Darline Hillard, 2015 NABOR® Affiliate/Allied Member of the Year served as the evening’s Master of Ceremonies. Jim Pilon, 2003 NABOR® President, installed the following 2017 NABOR® officers: Dominic Pallini, President; Richard Baranski, President-elect; Harley Conrad, Jr., Vice President/Secretary; Ryan Bleggi, Treasurer; and directors: Nicholas Bobzien, Will Dukes, Richard Fioretti, Jeffrey Jones, Corey McCloskey, Lauren Melo, and Terrilyn VanGorder.


At the installation ceremony, outgoing President Rick Fioretti recognized the outstanding leadership of each committee with special accolades to James Schlimmer, who helped launch a NABOR® Safety Task Force. The outgoing president also shared his gratitude to the NABOR® staff, under the first-year direction of new Chief Executive Officer Marty Manion, for its continued support and efforts.

Incoming President Dominic Pallini thanked outgoing President Rick Fioretti for his service to NABOR® and during his speech, promised to “build upon his accomplishments,” which will include hosting additional REALTOR® safety workshops. The newly inducted president also announced new goals of his presidency:


  1. Video Education: This goal involves hiring a full-time staff videographer to initiate, manage, stream, promote and archive videos for and of select workshops, training sessions, and events that provide additional access to professional development.
  2. Upgrade This goal includes adding new technologies to upgrade the organization’s public-facing website,
  3. Design an Allied/Affiliate App: This goal includes development of a smart device application (app) to enhance participation with those members in the real estate support services fields.
  4. Technology Training: This goal includes developing and hosting a Technology EXPO and monthly high-tech training sessions.
