Strategic Plan

The Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR®) is an established organization (Chartered in 1949) whose members have a positive and progressive impact on the Naples community. NABOR® is a local board of REALTORS® and real estate professionals with a legacy of over 75 years serving 8,000 plus members. NABOR® is a member of Florida Realtors® and the National Association of REALTORS®, which is the largest association in the United States with more than 1.5 million members and over 1200 local boards of REALTORS® nationwide. NABOR® is structured to provide programs and services to its membership through various committees and the NABOR® Board of Directors, all of whose members are non-paid volunteers.

The term REALTOR® is a registered collective membership mark which identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and who subscribe to its strict Code of Ethics.

strategic priority 1: Educate

GOAL 1: Increase individual member participation in education programs by 30% annually across all delivery platforms.

GOAL 2: Design, pilot, and launch a “Naples Area Specialist” certification program by the end of 2026 that equips members with deep knowledge of the local market, community dynamics, and best practices for success in Naples real estate.

GOAL 3: Expand Spanish-language education and resources, increasing course offerings to a minimum of six (6) by the end of 2026.

GOAL 1: Enhance member engagement by delivering value-driven tools, relevant programming, and personalized outreach that supports members’ success in a dynamic market.

GOAL 2: Deepen business partner engagement by offering meaningful recognition, visibility, and opportunities to contribute their expertise.

GOAL 3: Establish partnerships with educational institutions to engage future real estate professionals and expand NABOR’s presence in academic communities.

GOAL 1: Increase designated REALTOR® broker participation by ensuring that at least 5-10% of active brokerages engage with a NABOR-hosted event, roundtable, educational session, or networking initiative, reaching 25% by the end of 12 months.

GOAL 2: Position NABOR as a high-value partner to brokers by delivering leadership development, operational education, and practical resources that directly support brokerage growth and success.

GOAL 1: Finalize NABOR's existing plans to rebuild, redesign, and modernize NABOR’s physical space and land, enhancing the member experience while executing identified strategies for future growth and non-dues revenue generation.

GOAL 2: Strengthen NABOR’s MLS infrastructure to increase flexibility, efficiency, and potential for future monetization.

GOAL 3: Advance leadership and governance by exploring clear pathways for advancement and intentional training that support continuity, accountability, and long-term impact.

GOAL 4: Expand NABOR’s impact and financial sustainability through strategic partnerships and diverse non-dues revenue streams.

GOAL 1: Increase member awareness, engagement, and investment in NABOR’s advocacy efforts through consistent education, storytelling, and outreach.

GOAL 2: Establish a grassroots advocacy team of 20 engaged volunteers to support local campaigns and calls for action.

GOAL 3: Launch an Advocacy Academy to educate members about government processes, leadership opportunities, and community engagement.

GOAL 4: Elevate NABOR’s public-facing advocacy through proactive messaging and storytelling around key industry issues.

GOAL 5: Strengthen community connections by leveraging member expertise to address local, industry-specific housing needs and civic priorities.

GOAL 1: Begin implementing AI-driven features on the NABOR website and member dashboard by Q1 2027 to improve self-service, personalization, and virtual member experience (to be possibly known as NABOR Connect).

GOAL 2: Analyze and promote cutting-edge market intelligence tools with a 5% member adoption rate per year.

GOAL 3: Expanding access to NABOR educational content by launching an organized, on-demand video library within the next 12 months.

GOAL 4: Refresh and relaunch NABOR’s social media strategy to increase visibility, engagement, and member relevance through short-form content.

This Strategic Plan has been adopted by the Board of Directors of the Naples Area Board of REALTORS® and will become the foundation for the Association. It will be reviewed for any modifications at least annually by the Board of Directors.
