Annual Night of Honors Awards
We are currently accepting Annual Night of Honors Award nominations for the 2023 calendar year. The deadline to submit your nomination(s) is Thursday, February 29, 2024.
Ad Miller
The Ad Miller Award is presented to an individual (Member or Non-Member) that has significantly contributed to enhancing and preserving private property rights, is involved in the enactment of legislation that positively affects the REALTOR® business, and is committed to high standards in the political process, as exemplified by inspired leadership and service to the REALTOR® organization.
BUSINESS PARTNER Committee Contribution
Recognizes a Business Partner who has shown commitment to the goals and purpose of their committee and whose outstanding service went above and beyond expectations.
BUSINESS PARTNER of the Year
Honors a Business Partner who has consistently volunteered their time and has made a significant contribution to NABOR®.
BUSINESS PARTNER Rising Star
Recognizes a new Business Partner (minimum of 1 year of membership but no more than 3 years from 12/31/2023) who regularly attended and is an active participant in committee/task force endeavors, serving as a role model for other new members.
Commercial REALTOR® Achievement
Honoring a REALTOR® based on their lifetime contributions to the practice of Commercial Real Estate. Contributions should include: contributions to the local board commercial real estate activities, promotion of board membership and services to commercial real estate practitioners, activities that demonstrate a willingness to share, teach and support the success of the commercial practitioner community, contributions to the community. This award may be bestowed posthumously.
* Nominations will not be accepted by the general membership. Nominations will be taken from NABOR® committee members, Board of Directors and past presidents. A Commercial REALTOR® Achievement task force will then select the recipient.
Education Volunteer of the Year
Honors an unpaid NABOR® member who exemplifies leadership and volunteer service in real estate education through assistance in forwarding at NABOR®'s education efforts and helping to preserve and enhance REALTOR®professionalism.
Educator of the Year
Honors a NABOR® member who exemplifies leadership and service in real estate education through instruction of classes at NABOR® helping to preserve and enhance REALTOR® professionalism. Includes paid or unpaid instructors.
Global Achievement
Recognizes a distinguished REALTOR® member of the Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR®) who has helped to promote global business and education in our association. They also attend national and/or state level events.
* Nominations will not be accepted by the general membership. Nominations and votes will be taken from a subcommittee made up of Global Business Committee members and CIPS members.
Hall of Fame
Recognize those members, whether active or former members of NABOR® who have exhibited extraordinary dedication and service over 20 years total of membership (primary or secondary) in the Naples Area Board of REALTORS®. This award is meant to honor an individual who may have been honored in many ways in their profession, and has served NABOR® and the membership. This award may be bestowed posthumously.
* Nominations will not be accepted by the general membership. Selections for this award shall be made by the Hall of Fame task force.
Humanitarian
Honors and gives recognition for the effort, time, and talent offered to the local community and identifies a NABOR® member as a compassionate, involved, sympathetic community member.
* The “local community” is defined as Collier County.
*Nominee's work must benefit a 501(c)3 organization.
REALTOR® Committee Contribution
Recognizes a member (REALTOR®) who has shown commitment to the goals and purpose of their committee and whose outstanding service went above and beyond expectations.
REALTOR® Rising Star
Recognizes a new REALTOR® member (minimum of 1 year of membership but no more than 3 years from 12/31/2022) who has regularly attended and is an active participant on committee/task forces, serving as a role model for other new members.
REALTOR® of the Year
This award is the gold standard of professionalism and service to the Naples Area Board of REALTORS® and its members. The recipient of this award has willingly contributed time, talent and expertise to NABOR® through extensive REALTOR® association and community service. The foremost attribute of the REALTOR® of the Year is the ability to seamlessly blend leadership, competence, dedication, and ethical conduct in business and NABOR® service.
Spotlight Awards
The spotlight awards are given out on a quarterly basis at the Member Business Meetings, with nominations being accepted throughout the year.
Committee Member Spotlight
The Committee Member Spotlight Award is designed to recognize those committee members who have made an exceptional effort in their committee.
* Nominations will not be accepted by the general membership, but by committee chairs.
